KHUMBI PULAV

A delicate delicious combination of rice with fresh green onions and mushrooms.Serve with a fresh salad,some chutneys and if you are feeling indulgent try with some tandoori allu.
Ingridients:-
1.Rice-2 cups(picked ,washed ,souked)
2.Oil--2 tbsp
3.Green onions--5(chopped)
4.Garlic--4 cloves(crushed)
5.Mushrooms--200 gms(washed and sliced lenght wise)
6.Salt--to taste
7.Peppercorns--to taste
8.Milk-1/2 cup
Method:-
1.Heat oil in a heavy bottemmed pan for two minutes,add onions and garlic and conitue to cook for 4 minutes.
2.Add mushrooms,stir and cook covered at simmer gas flame for 4 minutes.
3.Add salt.pepper,milk,and rice with the water in which it has been soaking.Cook uncovered for 5 -6 minnutes on high flame.
4.Simmer the falme and allow it to cook for 5 more minutes.
5.Stand for 5 minutes before serving.
